Under the plan, a high-altitude fireworks display would take place near the Thu Thiem Tunnel, which connects Thu Duc City with District 1, while a low-altitude pyrotechnic show would be held at Dam Sen Theme Park from 9:00 pm to 9:15 pm on September 2. The department also suggested that the southern metropolis organize hot-air balloon shows from September 2 and 3 on Nguyen Thien Thanh Street in Thu Duc City under Ho Chi Minh City.
